Our Dictionary

Our word list is ENABLE (Enhanced North American Benchmark Lexicon), a public-domain list of 168,551 words. Words With Friends closely matches it and covers the vast majority of words in the official North American Scrabble dictionary. Definitions come from Princeton's WordNet. Word frequency, used to put common words first, comes from the open wordfreq project.
