How the word finder works

The finder checks your letters against 168,562 words from ENABLE, the open word list that most word apps use and that Words With Friends closely matches. Each letter is used once, so two Es in a word need two Es in your rack. A ? stands in for any letter, like a blank tile.

Results are grouped by length and sorted with everyday words first, so the word you're looking for is usually near the top. Scores use standard Scrabble tile values, or Words With Friends values on this page; bonus squares aren't included.
